Hi there! I’m Marie – nurse turned photographer!

For years being a nurse has been my daily dose of chaos juggling life-and-death situations with caffeinated grace, dodging bodily fluids like a ninja, and mastering the art of deciphering physician calligraphy.

But I decided it was time to shake things up a bit and try to create a life I loved more than nursing. To do so, I knew I had to trade in my stethoscope and syringes, for shutters and lenses.

Enter photography – the perfect blend of chaos and beauty.

It’s been a rollercoaster of a journey starting Pebble & Rose, filled with moments of self-doubt and debatable delight. But hey, at least now when I’m covered in something questionable, it’ll probably be sand from a sunset session!

So here I am, a nurse turned photographer, ready to help you capture life, one frame at a time.

What's in a name?

Pebble & Rose Photography embodies the essence of life’s contrasts, capturing the strength of life’s challenges and the beauty of its tender moments. The “Pebble” symbolizes resilience, the enduring spirit that carries us through hardships, while the “Rose” reflects the delicate, fleeting beauty of love, joy, and connection. Together, they tell a story of life’s balance, where every rough edge is softened by moments of grace. Through every photograph, Pebble & Rose Photography seeks to honor the hard and beautiful truths that make life extraordinary.
